Mix It Up

Our collection of EPs all about celebrating our Southern African heritage.

Every year, we take UK music artists and match them with South African music producers, blending international cultures and music styles – all set to the infectious Amapiano sound.

What is Amapiano?

It’s the biggest cultural movement to come out of South Africa since Nando’s.

The Journey

Recorded across two continents at Flame Studios in Johannesburg and our Soho studio in London, the tracks are a handshake between the UK and our homeland.

Did you know Flame Studios is named after the flame of democracy lit by President Mandela and is built into the former prison at Constitution Hill.

Volumes 1 & 2

In collaboration with non-for-profit label, Bridges For Music, we released Mix It Up Volumes 1 & 2 featuring artists like M1llionz, Bru-C, Miraa May, Kojey Radical and Niko B. To date, the EPs have hit over 2 million streams to date.

Volume 3

This year, we teamed up with Musa Keys as our executive producer to create Mix It Up Vol. 3 featuring Unknown T, A$AP Nast and Teni and local SA legends Nkulee, Duppy and Toby Franco on production.
