Nando’s Basildon East Square is now open!
As the saying goes, when one gate closes, another square opens. Yes, Nando's Basildon Eastgate might be closing, but we've opened a shiny new restaurant in East Square. Woo. We're a short walk from Eastgate's South Gunnels exit, between Primark and Metro Bank. And we’re in good company with Kaspa’s and the soon-to-open Empire Cinema as neighbours – the main train station and bus depot are a 5–10-minute walk away, too.
We’re turning up the heat with our interiors. We have bespoke light fittings from UK designer Flo and Joe, concrete sinks and wall panelling from Concrete Carrot and unique art, portal mirrors and benches from South Africa.
You might recognise a few things from our old Eastgate restaurant, though. Like the timber, which we’re reusing to make a huge fascia. We're trying to salvage as much as we can to reduce our impact on the planet. We’re also donating most of the restaurant furniture to dementia charity BIADS as part of our community project to transform an empty storeroom into a space for coffee and chats.
Available for Eat-in, Collect and Delivery, it’s perfect for grabbing a bite whatever your plans.
