We’ve been all fired up for our Griller of the Year final this month, where our Grillers went head to head to show off their PERi-PERi skills.
It was no easy feat, we’ll tell you that! Our finalists battled through 340 restaurant heats, 33 quarter-final heats and 4 semi-finals to reach the ultimate UK final… and what a final it was!
Our Birmingham Bullring restaurant played host to our finalists and expert judges, as well as over 200 supporters. But there could be only one winner…
Let us introduce Amy from our Leamington Spa restaurant. Flames flickering, tongs in hand, Amy fearlessly grilled her way through the final to be crowned this years’ Griller of the Year.
With her top-notch technical skills and the tastiest flame-grilled chicken, Amy’s a shining example of our passion for PERi-PERi.
Runners up Bruno, from our Chichester restaurant, and Shih, from our Liverpool ONE restaurant, will join Amy and Nando’s grillers worldwide, at the International Grillers’ Challenge in Canada next month.
We wish Amy, Bruno and Shih the best of luck… we’re currently the reigning champs, so the pressure is on!
